Condensation Control

Our Services

We Offer a Range of Services to Meet Your Needs

Condensation can quickly lead to mould which generates spores that easily become airborne. When inhaled, these microscopic spores can trigger a range of respiratory conditions such as asthma, dust allergies and hayfever which is particularly harmful to young child and older people, especially if they have underlying health issues such as asthma or bronchitis.

If you see mould developing in your property address it as soon you can as leaving it will only make the problem harder and more expensive to fix in the long-term.

We Destroy Mould

Leaving black mould to fester in your home can be incredibly dangerous for the young, old, those with respiratory illnesses, some skin problems and those with a weakened immune system. It also damages your house and causes cosmetic damage but can also cause longer term structural damage.

If you are looking to eradicate mould from your property you need a long-term solution. There are many temporary fixes, from opening windows, to cleaning products to simply decorating; but this is superficial and will not cure the problem.

Condensation is the leading cause of mould in the UK

Condensation is a common problem for many homes and commercial premises in the UK although some cases are more serious than others.

You'll notice condensation when water vapour appears on the inside of your windows, sils or frames. It is causes when warm air collides with cold surfaces, or when there is too much humidity in your property.

Kitchens and Bathrooms are usually a common area for mould spores to appear particularly around windows where there is condensation build up, especially if the area is poorly ventilated.

Draught proofing causing Condensation

Properties today are stuffed with insulation whether that's in lofts, wall cavities, double glazing or under floors. All this added draught proofing, especially in older homes has meant properties are not breathing - instead trapping stale humid air within the property causing it to permeate into walls or collide with cold surfaces such as windows to form pools of water which eventually cause mould.

Having an adequate ventilation system will enable your property to modulate air flow to prevent a build up of moisture and therefore eradicate mould forming on your walls and ceilings.
